After that, I tried several part-time office jobs, and took up giving private tuitions, but little by little my health got progressively worse until sometimes I could barely stand.

As my health continued to decline, I sank into a terrible depression. I knew that unless I could find a solution, I would have nothing left to look forward to except lack of fulfilment and despair...
I had to try and find something I could do from home, at my own pace, and in my own time.
But I didn’t know what…
I thought of online business opportunities, but most of the options I found required large upfront investments, or they were just too time-consuming with meagre returns.
Many required a substantial degree of technical knowledge that I didn't have, which I would have to spend time and money learning – before I could even begin setting up my business.
I started wishing for a ready-made solution, a sort of 'tried and tested blueprint' that I could follow and find a means to make a living...
But where or how I didn’t know…

Then one day my sister phoned me to tell me about an ad she’d seen about starting up a "hyper-profitable online marketing business from home" – with no prior knowledge, skills, or experience required. She said she’d sent me a link and wanted me to check it out.
I told her I would, but to be honest I didn’t take it seriously; I had seen so many ads and they were all about the same, promising easy, quick-fix solutions with grandiose claims.

A few days later though, she phoned me again and asked if I’d "...checked out the videos..." I had to admit I hadn’t.
“Are you okay with the way things are for you right now?” She asked.
The fact is – I could no longer bear the situation that I was in. She made me promise I’d watch the videos…
And I am so glad I did. To my amazement, this was pretty much exactly what I had been looking for! Not only was there actually a "tried and tested blueprint" I could follow, but it included step-by-step expert guidance and training, as well as technical support.

So, firstly, it has to be something that genuinely motivates you, something you can do relatively easily and doesn't require a large investment.
Plus, no one wants to commit to something and invest time, effort, and money, even if it's not a huge amount, only to realise that it wasn't the right choice.
Therefore, here are three top business models that are reasonably simple to set up, do not require special equipment or need extensive resources to set up and get started:
Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is a business arrangement between a company or business owner and the marketer, where the marketer earns a commission for referring customers to the company.
It is possibly the cheapest way to get into business, requiring minimal investment, and it's the most straightforward 'hands-off' type of business model, .
And, it's also one of the simplest forms of businesses to set up, as well as being one of the most easily scalable.
As one of the most frequently used business models for new business owners, affiliate marketing is also the least expensive to set up. With this type of business, you can sell products and / or services offered by other businesses and earn a commission on the sales.
Moreover, you can promote whatever product or service you feel aligned with and you're not under any obligation to continue promoting something you no longer wish to.
As long as you choose the product or company you wish to promote carefully, you can almost certainly use this type of business model to create a hyper-profitable business with no upper limit to your potential earnings!
Affiliate marketing can work for you, earning you money round-the-clock, 365 days a year, even while you sleep, completely on autopilot!
e-Commerce
Another relatively easy business model is e-commerce. With modern selling platforms, the buying and selling of goods can now be done almost completely automatically, with the seller not having to get involved with any part of the processes like packaging and shipping – not even processing payments, or dealing with returns and refunds!
e-Commerce is all about selling physical products online. But once more with the use of modern selling systems, you don’t have to handle any goods yourself.
You can buy in bulk relatively cheaply, then sell your products through internet platforms like Amazon, which can do all the work on your behalf, like fulfilling orders and so on, to kick-start your business.
And you can do all this without ever having to find storage, or process orders, or take payments, and without having to calculate shipping costs for your stock…
This of course leaves you free to deal with the marketing and advertising side of your business, which you can do around your existing commitments in your own time.
Also, with online marketing, you now have access to the unlimited sales potential of a global market, and companies like Amazon, allow you to reach that global market with ease!
Online Consultancy
If you have knowledge, experience or expertise in a particular field or subject, another very good business model to consider is starting a coaching business, or consultancy.
Modern technology has made this type of business model extremely easy to set up and run.
Almost all forms of teaching, mentoring, consulting, or therapy can now be done online, with the facility to reach an international client base.
If you have expertise or experience in a particular field, or are a therapist, you could set up your own online coaching business or consultancy. Genuine help, advice, and support is invaluable, and people who have a sound knowledge base or experience can now run their practices from home offering their services via readily available online interfaces like Zoom or skype.
With the use of modern technology, coaches and therapists can now offer their services to an international client base, with next to no overhead costs, limited only by a language barrier, and the amount of time they wish to spend in session.
My Recommendation
If you are completely new to online business, I would recommend you start off with affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is the most straightforward business model to use.
Pretty much all the work is done by the company / companies whose products or services you choose to promote, and you can start making money almost from the start.
Some Points to Consider
When it comes to setting up a business, what most people want to know is how much it will cost, and whether or not it's something that they can do, will they be able to make time for it, will they need to give up their jobs, and so on...
Well, in today's digital age, it doesn't have to cost a fortune, and it's certainly very doable! With consistent effort and dedication – you can build a successful online business alongside all your current commitments!
With about an hour or so a day, you can set up a profitable online business that will earn you money even while you're still learning marketing.
However, it does take time and effort to set it up, and it's really important not to give up in those early stages and become disheartened. You have it give it time – and believe in yourself and your ability to succeed!
The main thing to remember is, once you're over this initial period, found your style, identified your market, and started making a profit with something that works for you, and you feel aligned with – you can just repeat the process over and over again.
As long as you are consistent with what you are doing, and work with diligence – you really can create a profitable online business.
